The following botanical species are most often grown in Poland:
a) szklanka, having bright, transparent skin, translucent, acidulous, Flesh and colorless juice not protruding from the seed,
b) wiśnia zwyczajna, or black cherry with dark red fruits, dark red juice and the flesh easily separated from the seed,
c) wiśnia stepowa lub tzw. A peasant with small fruits and sour red juice.
