After breastfeeding, milk secretion usually gives way to spontaneously. Sometimes, however, it may appear up to menopause. Mickotok sometimes causes certain drugs (hormonal, antidepressant) and e.g.. thyroid disease. It is a helpful examination to determine the concentration of prolactin hormone. On its basis, the cause of the milk and recommended treatment is determined. Most often this ailment is treated pharmacologically. As a last resort, a small surgery is performed.
